"Ambassadors of Mercy"

Some might remember last month's brief word on tribunal advocates -- those good souls who, where they've been commissioned, have become an invaluable part of helping parties in annulment cases understand the process and keep informed.

Clearly, the good rep's spreading -- last weekend back East, the diocese of Wilmington commissioned or renewed 65 advocates. The same day, over in Trenton, dear Mort swore in a new batch at a blessing ceremony for the diocese's lay ministries.

Wilmington's diocesan paper, the Dialog, offers an intense, three-page piece on the advocate's role and a wider look at the tribunal process. As the paper opens as a pdf, it's worth checking the whole thing.
