On the Agenda

At the tail-end of its report on the eruptive migration of the Kennedy funeral "web-war" above the 49th, Canadian Catholicism's journal of record -- unlike the States, see, they actually have one -- noted what might be the most intriguing tidbit (Timbit?) of all:
The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops has scheduled a closed-door session on independent blogs and web sites claiming to be Catholic at its October plenary.
Interesting phrasing, eh?

As close observers might recall, the US bishops tried their hand at an open session on digital media at their last November plenary in Baltimore... but as that one succeeded only in glazing over the eyeballs of most in attendance, better luck to the Canucks.
